The house is located in a small Italian town. Parking available directly at the house. From here you have to rely on a car. Lucca is very close, everything else is at least an hour away. Shopping opportunities about 1/2 hour. A great pizzeria within walking distance.
The garden and the beautiful seating area are not directly at the house but can be reached via a small path. It's not far, but you have to carry everything over and open two little doors. The house itself could be a little better equipped. The main meeting point, the kitchen table, could use more comfortable chairs and the kitchen utensils are getting old. What bothered me was the wooden panel on the door in the kitchen. This is for safety and protection from heat in summer, but it makes the room very dark and gets in the way when opened. The dishwasher didn't work half the time. The landlords are very nice and always helpful with any problems.
